$695

An early 18K authentic Georgian diamonds ring c1780-1810. Commonly worn on the second (index) fingers, these rings were usually sold in pairs. This size 9 ring weighs 2.8 grams and it retains its original cushion-shaped rose cut diamonds (Mazarin cut). The six graduated diamonds measure 2.1 x 1.5 mm, 2.1 x 2.0 mm, 2.3 x 2.1 mm, 2.5 x 1.3 mm, and 2 x 1.4 mm and they are held with finely tooled and designed claws (total diamond weight 50 points). This ring has a set of obscured hallmarks (due to wear and re-sizing) but it tests as 18k gold, and has a current independent conservative gemmologist' appraisal for $900 CAD. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor traces of sizing. All items are used and slight signs of gentle use should be expected. Trackable insured surface shipping for this item starts at $20 (to the US - other spots may vary) - air mail and FedEx are higher. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US.
