An unusual matching pair of Victorian carved shell cameo pierced earrings c1860-70. This 7/8" x 3/4" pair is mounted in gilt brass, and they depict two different and facing male Greek mythological or classical figures. One is a close likeness to the statue of Pericles of Athens, not sure who the other figure represents. This pair has dark highlights and they are in very good original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the loss of the top of one of the cameos (not affecting the carving). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. A 15-1/4" Czechoslovakian necklace with alternating 9/16" panels of claw-set blue swirled art glass and silver plate over brass filigree. It has a spring-ring catch and it is signed CZECHOSLOV on the jump ring. This item is in very good original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the loss of much of the silver plating, leaving a nice mellow brass colour to the metal components. A scarce World War I era 60" patinated metal and amethyst cut glass watch or fan chain c1915. Unsigned but probably English, it was common for jewellery at this time to be blackened or patinated so as to avoid flashing and glinting, which could have been seen by the enemy fliers at night. This necklace has a large spring-ring catch and swivel, and the chain has oblong loops. A late Victorian 1-1/8" rose gold filled round photo locket with paste rhinestones in the form of a moon and star. This locket has two photo retaining bezels and the F&B maker's mark for Foster & Bailey of Providence, Rhode Island.
