A vintage and period Art Deco ebony or ebonized wood and glass bead flapper necklace c1920s-30s. This 54" necklace consists of diamond-shaped black wood 3/4" wide beads interspersed with gold plated spacer beads and inner-foiled yellow glass tubes. It is unsigned, it has a brass springring catch, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of corrosion to some of the interior foiling on some of the tubes. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. An attractive and bold Victorian Revival necklace with assorted glass stones and openwork. This silver plated on brass 16-3/4" necklace features three shield-shaped drops (largest 2 x 1-1/2") with openwork and applied flowers; the claw-set glass stones include blue Murano, goldstone and Peking glass, with faux pearls and marcasites. The link chain is brass, and it has a (probably replaced) springring catch. It is unsigned, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than some missing marquisites. A funky 1950s pair of JayFlex sterling and rhinestone pins, one in the form of a soda siphon and the other a martini glass. These well-made pins feature claw-set white rhinestones with turquoise blue rhinestones set in a layered configuration; each has a safety catch and all of the closed back stones glitter brightly. They measure 1-5/8" x 5/8" (soda siphon) and 1-5/8" x 1" (glass). Both pins are in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. An unusual 1 x 13/16" hand-engraved rolled gold plate Victorian double hair locket c1860-80. This item opens up accordion style to reveal a central panel of woven dark brown hair in a double-sided glassed window flanked by two hinged and glassed panels with a curl of reddish/brown hair in one and medium brown in the other. This unmonogrammed locket has a different engraved design on each side and it has the original bezels and glass windows. It is unsigned and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a crack in on window. An unusual and rare pair of 11/16" x 1/2" hand painted on mother-of-pearl miniatures of winged cherubs mounted in 1-1/4" x 11/16" cut steel frames, dating from the last half of the 18th century, probably about c1770. Each frame is topped with a bow of inset cut steel stones - they are unsigned. They were possibly part of a necklace or earrings at one time, and they would make a great pair of stunning earrings. This unusual pair is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the loss of two cut steel stones on one and a small paint scrape on the bottom of the other (just visible on the bottom of the face-on cherub at the lower left (the rest are light flash)). This 17-1/4" beauty consists of entwined finely coiled strands of wire on cord, one patinated black and the other brass, with a suspended 1-3/8" disc pendant. The pendant has a black onyx-style bakelite or celluloid ring with a creamy white dome of celluloid in the center, all set is a bezel brass setting.
