A funky, vintage c1930s necklace consisting of chain-link blue-stained clear celluloid links with suspended dyed blue wooden balls. The celluloid is a pale yellow with blue staining, the royal blue wood balls are suspended from brass hooks and the clasp is a gold-plated brass. This unsigned 16-1/4" necklace measures 1-3/8" across the blue beads, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A Regency period rolled gold plate mourning locket with enamel c1835. This 1-5/16" locket features an engine turned design on each side, a watch-style bale for hanging from a chain, pin or chatelaine, and it has a removable central compartment for hair or a memento. The front is hinged and swings out to reveal the contents, which are under bevelled glass (a curl of brown hair and woven black fabric). It has a hand-engraved dedication saying: "IN MEMORY OF Margaret Maclachlin Jane Magregor Died 1839. Dugalt Maclachlin Died 21st April 1849." This pendant has blue enamelling, and it is in very good original condition with no dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some shallow denting to the panels, some tiny enamel losses and the smashing of the glass insert.
