A 5-1/4" long sterling and Connemara marble topped Edwardian hat pin c1900-10. This pin measures 3/4" across the hand-engraved sterling silver top, which is mounted on a silver plated base and pin. It is stamped E.P.N.S BACK on the underside and STERLING on the edge. This item is in excellent condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a few tiny pinpoint dents on the extreme edge of the top. All
items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. A 45 piece set of sterling silver flatware in the Saxon pattern, issued by Birks, Canada's retailer of finery. All pieces are unmonogrammed and in excellent condition other than some shallow denting to the handle ends of the knives (quite minor). This set includes the 2 piece carving set and the set comes in a flatware box (minor scuffs and wear). The pieces include:
eight 9-3/4" dinner knives
eight 5-1/4" five o'clock spoons
two 4-1/4" demitasse spoons
seven 7-3/4" dinner forks
eight 5-7/8" salad forks
eight 7-1/8" dessert spoons
large 10-3/4" carving fork with rest ,br> large 14" carving knife (sharp edge, barely used)
5-1/2" sugar shell
