A finely made antique vintage Dutch sterling silver piercework bonbon or sweetmeat basket. This basket measures 6-1/4" across the floreate handles and 3-7/8" wide; the edges are beaded and the gallery is finely pierced. This basket has some worn and illegible marks on the bottom including the lion mark and a possible maker's mark. It is hallmarked also at the upper rim with a lion silver purity mark, a Minerva head stamp with M in the helmet, and the 1920 date stamp, although it is quite likely that these marks are later stamps, added when the piece was being sold at a later date (1920) and this is a much earlier piece with newer/later added standard marks - the style and workmanship of this basket is completely consistent with early 19th century Dutch silver baskets. It weighs 70 grams (2.5 ounces) and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Trackable surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $12.50 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card. Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US. NOTE: we do not accept PayPal.

A Victorian period sterling silver engraved pepper pot or spice shaker by the highly regarded English silver firm of Roberts & Briggs, fully hallmarked for London, England 1861. This 3-7/8" tall shaker has a pierced domed lid with finial and a bulbous body with the fine quality engraving typical of Roberts and Briggs, it is hallmarked on both pieces and it weighs 50 grams. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the U.S. starts at $6.30 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $90 if paid with a credit card. A stylish vintage Art Deco period sterling and 10K yellow gold and black onyx signet ring c1930s. This size 9-1/2 ring weighs 4.5 grams and it has hand engraved upper sides with applied 10k gold side decorations; the square black onyx has a mounted engraved sterling Gothic N monogram. It measures 7/16" x 1/2" across the onyx front, and it is stamped with an M maker's mark with STERLING and 10K. The N initial is set with a screw mounting, so it can be changed if you have another initial. It is definitely hand made rather than machine punched manufacture. It is in very good vintage condition with no chips, cracks, losses, corrosion, repairs or damage, but please note that there is a tiny scratch line from the initial on the onyx. Surface shipping is $6 (to the US - other spots may vary) - insured is higher. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US. Please note that we do NOT accept Paypal.
