A Singer Featherweight 221-1 sewing machine, fully loaded with accessories and tools in its original case, in the finest condition we have ever found for one. This unit appears to have barely or never to have been used; it has the CA.16-8 motor from St. Johns, Quebec and it has an EF287537 serial number corresponding to a manufacturing date of 1949 (Kilbowie Scotland). It has the ornate patterned chrome face plate, intact gold decals, the thread tensioning apparatus and the following accessories and parts: ruffler, edge stitcher, 6 other metal parts (we are unfamiliar with all of the parts and their uses), a bobbin cover, 2 screwdrivers, manual, foot switch, 5 bobbins, motor lubricant in original box (with most of the contents), 3 size 16 needles in original folder, 2 plastic items, spring, zipper foot instructions in envelope, and unbelievably the original cardboard liner from the inside of the lid (from the original packaging). The condition is near mint on all items, except for a bit of paint flecking on the oil tube, minor spine rub on manual, and wear to mounting loops on handle. This is an odour-free machine and case, fully loaded, and a definite prize. All cords and the belt are factory fresh and in excellent shape as well. This item is in excellent original condition with no losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the continental U.S. starts at $26 (other spots may vary) - insured is higher, and mandatory on items over $85 if paid with a credit card. An American Brilliant Cut creamer and sugar in the Heart pattern c1900. This pattern was priduced by Fry, Pitkin & Brooks and other firms - we think this was produced by Fry, as it most resembles their version. This set consists of the 5-3/4" across the spout 3-1/2" high creamer and matching 7" across the handles and approximately 3-1/2" high sugar bowl. This set is in excellent original condition with no chips, losses, damage or repairs other than a very few expected tiny fleabites to the ridges and some straw marks, original to the production of the crystal. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use.
