An unusual 19th century low-form milk glass oil lamp with high relief flowers and spiderwebs. This unmarked lamp stands 7-1/8" high (to the brass collar only, sans socket) and 8-1/2" across; it sits on four protuberant feet. We haven't been able to identify the maker or pattern, and this great piece is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. It has been converted to electricity, however the fittings are wired through the bottom of the socket and there has been no drilling or damage in the conversion, which can easily be reverted to oil with the proper lamp fitments. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted.
