An Victorian pair of hand-embroidered cotton bloomers c1880-90. These undergarments measure 30" at the waist or 24-1/2" unextended (they have two extensions for sizing with cotton loops and bone buttons); they measure 24" long. The beautifully hand-embroidered lower edge has openwork and floral decoration beneath a lined design; they are in excellent original condition with no rips, stains, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use.
