A decorative and ornate pair of Edwardian English sterling silver bonbon baskets fully hallmarked for Sheffield 1910-11. Made by Walker & Hall, these 5-1/4" x 3-3/4" bowls feature ornate repousse scrolling and openwork; the pair weighs 72 grams and they are in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. A superb, ornate 8-1/8" long sterling and mother-of-pearl parasol handle c1890. This Victorian fashion accessory consists of a 2" wide fancy repousse sterling handle, a finely formed panelled middle section of lustrous mother-of-pearl and a sterling silver repousse end. Marked simply STERLING, this handle has a fancy McD monogram, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. An elegant and beautiful English sterling silver 19th century pierced ladle with fine hand-engraving and repousse work. The 2" x 1-5/8" fluted bowl features hand-embossed and engraved flowers with crosses, teardrops and small round strainer holes. The handle has foliate hand engraving with no monogram, and this lovely ladle features full hallmarks for Exeter, England 1855 (maker's mark ES). Exeter only had hallmarking from 1701-1882, so you seldom see pieces from there. It weighs 24.1 grams, and it is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. This 5-1/4" server has splayed outer tines typical for small meat forks, however the other interior tines have spear ends; the size and shape indicate this is probably a small meat server. An unusual set of very high grade sterling silver (unmarked but tested) filigree eggcups c1900-10. Possibly made in India, these 2-1/2" tall footed cups have fancy filigree openwork, and pinned and applied gilt flowers on stalks on some panels. These unusual cups are in very good original condition with no dents, monograms, bends, corrosion or repairs; two cups are missing all six applied flowers, one cup is missing one flower applique and one flower top, and the fourth is missing one flower applique. A beautiful, ornate sterling silver berry or casserole spoon from the late 19th century. This 8-7/8" serving spoon has a high repousse floreate handle; it has a fancy GB monogram on the back of the handle and it is stamped simply STERLING. It is American and it could have been made by Kirk or Steiff, but we do not recognize the pattern. This item is in excellent condition with no losses, dents, corrosion, repairs or damage. A lovely bright-cut engraved Georgian pair of sterling sugar tongs, fully hallmarked for London, England 1805. These 5-7/8" tongs feature fine bright cut engraving extending from the joined end to the tips of the bowls; they have the maker's mark, probably for John Austin. This pair is in excellent condition, with no dents, monograms, corrosion, repairs or damage other than a touch of wear on the bowls (very slight) and a gentle and barely noticeable bend on one arm.
