A superb mid-Victorian Scottish silverplated large meat dome with a fancy finial and fine hand engraving. This 14 x 11-1/4" dome stands 10-3/4" high, and it is stamped with the maker's mark for John Fullarton of Glasgow, Scotland (1870-90). It has an ornate WS monogram on the cartouche on one side, with the other side's engraving uninitialled. The finial is held with a hand-cut wing-nut and it has a 14 stamped below the EPNS maker's mark. This item is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, plating losses, damage or repairs. All

A decorative vintage late Victorian period boxed mother-of-pearl handle fish service for six c1890-1900. This set includes six 6-1/2" fish forks amd six 7-3/8" scimitar-shaped fish knives; each piece has a sterling silver patterned ferrule, silver plated blades and colourful genuine mother-of-pearl handles. The purple satin and velvet interior of the box has fitted compartments with locking brass fittings. It has EB EPNS on the blades, and the paper-wrapped fold-open box is in fine condition with only a few rubs to the edges and a scrape on the top. This set is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, dents, breaks, plate wear, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All

A finely detailed 11-3/4" tall silverplated epergne stand or base c1880s. This stand features a semi-nude woman stganding on a footed base holding the dish aloft; it is stamped MONARCH SILVER CO. 592 on the bottom. The bottom of the bowl support has a satin finish, and it measures 3-5/8" across the interior, with a 9/16" deep collar for supporting the bowl. This item is in very good condition with no corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor losses to the original plating, a break where her foot was soldered to the base (see picture) and some denting under her other foot. All

A top quality late Victorian era silverplated open chafing or warming dish on stand c1900. This 9-5/8" round dish sits on the ornately designed heavy quality footed stand, which has a large fuel well with a turned handle. It has two mechanical burners - the long thumbwheels open the lids and raise and lower the wicks in the same motion, snuffing the flame. The burners are mounted in a fitted top which sits on the fuel well; they are stamped PAT'D AUG 29.1899. The stand is marked with the GMCo EP anchor mark for Gorham and it has a pattern number 0560, which also appears on the dish. This item is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a tight crack on the natural material of the handle. All

This 19th century 12" serving tray features a scalloped edge with modified shell decorations; the engraving has shells, boughs, florals and fruits as well as a complex monogram in the center. A fine example of mid-Victorian Naturalism. This is a silver plated egg stand in the form of tree branches, with the English registry mark for 1871. This set consists of the four silver plated 2-3/8" high eggcups and the cast metal 5-1/2" tall handled base with branches and leaves. The base measures 4-1/2" across, it has branch supports for four spoons (not present), and it has the registry mark on the bottom. Also on the bottom is a W7754 pattern number and an obscured maker's mark; it appears to have been re-plated in the past as shown by the lack of tarnish in the deep crevasses. This table serving accessory is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All

A splendid, high quality example of Victorian period silver plated tableware. This is a finely crafted English silver plated roll-top bacon or serving dish (or chafing dish) made by John Turton, Sheffield c1880s. This 12-1/2" x 9" server stands 9" high on ornate legs; it has a finger lift with a nesting slot on the edge of the base, a reeded dome lid with an unengraved planchette, and both original inserts (both pirced and solid). The hinges dismantle for cleaning, with the threaded shaft coming apart (see picture) to allow proper cleaning. The lid swings up and tucks under smoothly and all pieces fit tightly; it has the maker's mark for Turton on the bottom. This piece would certainly be the highlight of your table, and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than just a trace of plating wear on the edge of the planchette (barely noticeable). All

An excellent quality vintage silver plated fruit set for 12 in the original box c1905. This set consists of twelve 7-5/8" fruit knives plus twelve 6-1/4" triple-tined fruit forks in the original mahogany fitted case. Each piece has colourful and well-matched mother-of-pearl handles and fully hallmarked sterling silver ferrules, made by Allen & Darwin (registered Sheffield & London 1892). The forks are hallmarked for Sheffield, England 1896 and the knives are hallmarked for 1905. The registry numbers correspond to 1893 for the knives and 1897 for the forks, all of which have fine decorative scrolling and engraving. The box has the original fitted purple velvet interior, with brass fittings and bone inserts, one with an 1885 registry number for the box and the other for the retailer BELL BROTHERS SILVERSMITHS DONCASTER. Amazingly this set includes the original manuscript card for the original customer and the envelope with the original key is also included. The top of the lid has a shield-shaped brass insert without any monogram. The lock works, and this set appears unused and in superb condition, with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. All

An attractive c1900 silverplated cylindrical silverplated holder and matching etched glass vase by Meriden. This 9-1/2" tall vase features a lattice-style silverplated holder with a band of laurel leaves, holding the matching glass liner also with a laurel leaf band.
