An attractive, enamelled triangular cushion-shaped brass-mounted trinket box or powder jar c1890. This 3-1/2" across the bottom jar has gilt brass mounts and nicely painted enamel flowers on the top; the colours are pink, lavender, purple, light and dark green, white and gold. It is typically unsigned, but is most likely of Bohemian/Autrian manufacture. The glass has a soft satin finish. It is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the top being somewhat loose in the brass collar (it could use replastering). All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use. A stunning pair of unsigned Bohemian satin glass vases in the early Arts and Crafts style c1900. This wonderful pair stands 9-3/4" tall and they have applied moonstone-like glass jewels along the neck and base. The mounts are gold painted, as is the top edge and the edges of the steppes. The colour is a pale pastel blue/grey with subtle translucence, and this pair is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or damage other than the loss of one moonstone jewel and some minor losses to the gold on the upper edges.
