A beautifully hand painted 19th century English bone china 2-1/2" high cup and matching 5-3/4" saucer in the Imari orange, gold and cobalt palette. Made by Davenport, these cups bear the crowned DAVENPORT LONGPORT STAFFORDSHIRE mark (1870-87) with the 2614 pattern number. A decorative three piece English china sauce dish with lid and underplate, made by Copeland Late Spode in the pattern number 2 5114, c.1891. It measures 7-7/8" from handle to handle, the underplate measures 6-1/2" x 5" and it stands 5" tall. It has green, red and orange overpainting and the backstamp for A.T. Willey & Co. Ltd. Montreal, and this colourway is probably exclusive to this retailer. It has the blue and brown Spode backstamps and an underglaze crowned COPELAND with an underglaze 80S stamp. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs other than some overall crazing on the underplate and some losses to the orange overpainting on the bowl. A fine quality, fully handpainted English bone china covered oval entree dish dated 1907. Made by Royal Crown Derby in the 6452 pattern, this 11-1/4 x 7-3/4" serving dish has a cobalt band, lush gold painting including a grape vine motif and white enamel jewelling. It is marked on both pieces with the orange ROYAL CROWN DERBY ENGLAND 6452 mark, the M year letter (for 1907) and an underglaze stamped DERBY 6-07. A rare, early English flow blue covered entree or casserole dish c1860. This serving piece stands 7" high with the lid, and it measures 11-1/4" x 10-1/2". It has a floral style motif, and it has a pseudo Chinese mark, minor variants of which were used by Charles Meigh (1835-49), Charles Meigh & Son (1851-61) and also Job Meigh (c1805-34), all of Hanley, Staffordshire; we feel it dates c1850-60 but it could be of earlier manufacture.
