A beautifully handpainted pair of English bone china 2-1/2" high cups and matching 5-3/4" saucers in the Imari orange, gold and cobalt palette. Made by Davenport, these cups bear the crowned DAVENPORT LONGPORT STAFFORDSHIRE mark (1870-87) with the 2616 pattern number. They have various painter's cyphers, and these great display pieces are in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs. This plate is lushly decorated in the orange, cobalt and gold Imari palette, and it has the Wedgwood urn mark with the K date stamp for 1886. A nice Georgian 12-1/8" sterling silver stuffing spoon, fully hallmarked for London, England 1809-10 in the fiddle pattern. Made by Wm. Eley, Wm. Fearn & Wm. Chawner (registered 1808), this spoon weighs 142 grams, it has a family crest with a unicorn and the phrase "ORA ET LABORA" ("Pray and Work", the motto of St. Benedict). An early, well-made English George III sterling silver 5" creamer fully hallmarked for London, England 1765-66. This footed cream jug features ornate relief work with a fancy handle and feet; it has the W.K maker's mark for William Kersill (est. 1749). This serving piece weighs 102 grams and it is in very good original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses or damage other than an early professional repair to the rim (see images). An exceptional artist signed hand painted French Sevres porcelain cabinet or display plate c1840. This 9-5/8" plate features lush gilding, a scalloped edge with high relief gilt vines with a pink ground and a beautiful signed central portrait of a young lady picking flowers. The plate has the genuine three part Sevres marks, which include the Louis Phillippe 1844 mark, the Chateau de Tuileries wreath and the S. 37 in lozenge year date, indicating the blank was made in 1837 and painted in 1844. The portrait is signed F. Amblet, and this fine example of vintage French porcelain is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than a very slight touch of wear to the gold on the ribs where they enter the painted scene. A Quebec 7-5/8" pottery bowl possibly from the Dion pottery near Quebec City (c1870s-90s). This unmarked bowl was purchased in Quebec as a Dion example c1970, and it has the typical Dion gray and brown speckled glaze and patterned upper rim.
