A 5-5/8" long sterling silver honey serving spoon and 4-1/8" sugar tongs in the Tudor Scroll flatware pattern, introduced by Birks in 1919 - it had been out of production for some time. The honey spoon has a narrow flattened rim unlike the similarly shaped sugar shell and both items are in very good condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some tiny denting to the back of the spoon and a W monogram on each piece. A pair of English Georgian period sterling silver footed salt cellars or dishes with clear glass liners, fully hallmarked for London, England 1771-2. This antique pair of 2-1/2" diameter salt stands or dips are 1-1/2" high, and they have three hoof design feet. The liners are clear blown glass with a polished pontil, and these salt dips have an unidentified maker's mark. They weigh 67.6 grams without the liners, and they are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than old repairs to two legs on one salt (well finished on the exterior and barely visible - see pictures). A great example of 19th century English silverwork. This is a 10-1/2" x 8-1/2" ball-footed swing-handle serving basket fully hallmarked for Sheffield, England 1895-6. Made by James Dixon & Sons, this basket has ornate repousse decoration in the bowl as well as attractive design to the thick handle. It has a presentation inscription in the centre, as it was presented as a gift in September 1896, and it weighs an impressive 595 grams. A pair of English sterling silver gravy boats hallmarked for Sheffield England 1906 - 1907. This matched set or pair of gravy servers measure 7" from the lip to the edge of the handle and they stand 3-3/4" tall to the handle's top; they have the maker's mark for Martin Hall & Co. Ltd. They weigh 343 grams and have a Celtic design G monogram. The feet are a simple trefoil shape. An early and unusual pair of c1900 direct reading micrometers by J.T. Slocomb of Providence, Rhode Island. These 6-1/2" long hand-held thickness gauges are similar to the standard shaft-read micrometers except they have an indicator disc and pointer indicating the depth of the measured item (in this case probably sheet metal). They are painted cast iron with machined brass shafts and dials; they are each stamped with the maker's name on the shafts. One has an applied black marking disc with white numerals (up to 250) while the other has a brass face. They are in original untouched condition with only minor paint losses and surface oxidation from age and use; we have lightly oiled the brass and cleaned off the dirt. This pair is in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of surface roughening to the brass and the minor paint loss. The links alternate between white and yellow gold. The spring-ring is a replacement, as unlike the rest of the chain which is 14k, it is 10k. A George Culley watercolour painting 1981 from Canada. This unframed 15-1/2" x 11" double-sided watercolour on paper is by George S. Culley (Canadian, 1905-?) depicting a shack surrounded by low wooded hills on one side and a trees and yard winter scene on the other. This painting is in excellent original condition with no foxing, staining, bends, tears, losses, damage or repairs other than a thin scrape on the winter scene (see image). It is signed G.S. Culley in red in the left margin on the winter scene and G.S. Culley '81 on the other. The shack scene covers the complete side and the other has pencilled boundaries (image size 14" x 10"). Please note that there are some holes around the unpainted edge from the thumbtacks used by the artist to mount the paper to the easel, and pencil outlines of the image are clearly visible.
