A Royal Doulton Pixies D3690 series ware baby or child's bowl circa 1920s. This seldom seen 7-1/2" across ceramic seriesware design shows three green and yellow garbed pixies holding Chinese lanterns. It has the black Royal Doulton England mark with the D 3690 hand painted number. It is in fair condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than a 5/8" chip to the upper rim and some allover crazing. it was introduced in 1913 and was discontinued by 1929 or 1930. An elegant Edwardian period baisse-taille white enamel and sterling silver brooch with fine engine turning and gold inlay, circa 1910. This antique 2" across pin was made by Blackinton of North Attleboro, Massachusetts (1862-1967), It was constructed from French baisse-taille enamel on sterling mounted with a pin assembly with a safety catch. The bright gold flowers and wreath inlaid on the brooch set it off beautifully against the engine-turned design under the enamel. It has a pattern number 9707, and it has some solder where the company attached the pin to the enamel gilt-silver disc. The entire back is satin finish and gilt - the solder is original to the manufacture of the brooch, and is not a repair (enamel has to be heated with extreme care after manufacture). It is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. An antique Japanese Meiji period solid silver picture frame circa 1880-1900. This antique 5-1/2" x 3-1/2" frame has a bamboo pattern with a patterned ground; it has a textured snakeskin design paper over wood backing that originally had a support foot for standing up the frame. That is now missing and replaced with a wire so it can be hung on the wall. The frame front has copper round-head nails. It retains the original patterned backing paper and glass window. It is unmarked, as was often the case with older Japanese pieces, but tests as very high grade silver, sterling or likely higher, as .950 grade was often used in Japan. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the loss of the foot rest and slight bending at the lower right hand corner (very minor). A Herend Printemps hand painted oblong trinket or cigarette box with floral decoration and gold trim. This 6-3/4 x 3-1/2" box stands 1-1/2" tall and it is probably one of the many Printemps pieces which all have similar and slightly variant floral designs. It has the later Herend mark with a 7987 form number and a BT pattern code with a 1 or I below. It also has an impressed 7981 26 on the bottom.
