A Grenfell flying Canada geese 23" x 15" hooked mat wall hanging with label from the 1920s-30s. This fine and vintage beauty depicts two flying Canada geese over green and tan pine trees. It has the fine work typical of Grenfell with the expected mix of various fabrics. The colours include tan, brown, cream, black, grey and copper and it has the original Grenfell Labrador Industries red on white sewn label on the underside. It also has two sewn corners with metal eyelets for hanging on a wall which are probably original (and appear to be made of bra straps - Grenfell used whatever materials that were donated). An authentic Gucci Lady's Chiodo 122 Diamond Series wristwatch, YA 122505 model with all of the original packaging and documentation. The band is 6-3/4" long (measured flat, to the outer of two settings, and the face is 1-3/8" across. It is fully marked on the band, face, back and on all of the packaging - this is the genuine article, not a knockoff or reproduction. This watch includes the original brown outer box sleeve, the plush-lined box, the stuffed watch pillow, the instruction book in its sleeve, an envelope with two additional attached strap links , and the original bar-coded string price tag ($1995.00 CAD). A scarce Gustave Hauber 800 silver and amethysts brooch circa 1895 1900. This antique German Arts and Crafts silver pin was prodi uced by Gustav Hauber of Schwabisch Gmund, Germany (active 1870-present). It measures 1-5/8 wide and is 2-1/8" long. It has three dangles with facetted natural amethyst gemstones at the end of a poppy like floral pierce-work, plus a central amethyst cabochon. It has the original c-clasp, it is stamped DEP 800 with Gustave Hauber's maker's mark. Arts and Crafts was better known as Jugendstil (young style) in Germany. It weighs 11.2 grams. It has a large cabochon glass stone which looks like natural agate stone and we think this pin predates 1920 but we aren't positive (however glass stones were used in earlier examples). A hand painted Limoges large roses centerpiece or fruit bowl dated 1903. This wonderfully handpainted 10-3/8" across bowl stands 4" high and 8-1/2" deep, it has a handle on one side, and the painting is of very high quality for a painted blank. Typical in this era, china painting was very popular and some very talented pieces were produced by home amateurs. This example has lovely red roses and green foliage, a pink interior ground with a pair of roses, and gold trim (which required a refiring to set after the firing on of the painting). It is stamped with HAVILAND FRANCE (the maker of the blank) and 2. (the item or mold number). A hand painted porcelain lamp - Noritake? This fine quality porcelain lamp has gilt metal mounts and it is in the Prattware style. It is most likely by Noritake - we were unable to disassemble it for examination to say definitely. It has 3 colour Greek mythology-style portrait medallions and a Greek key band at the neck all on a deep and vibrant orange ground; it measures 12-1/2" from the base to the top of the decorative upper metal collar (excluding the 15-1/4" shaft, socket, harp and finial). A Heisey Octagon 1229 black glass footed fruit bowl with coralene butterflies from the 1920s. This elegant glass footed bowl features lush gold trim and hand painted gold decoration along with fine blue, pink and white coralene butterflies and lily of the valley hand painted decoration. This fruit bowl or table centerpiece bowl measures 11 x 9" (including the handles) and it is an unmarked Heisey Octagon 1229 blank. We haven't seen another example of this decoration or of this black colour and it is possible that it was a special order or line made exclusively for a major retailer at the time (we have found no other examples of the blank in black glass). This rarity is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs other than a bit of minor wear on the heavily gold painted handles and a small drip inside the bowl from a liquid that left a 1/4" spot of fogging on the surface of the glass. A group of four hand painted German porcelain cups and saucers by Helena Wolfsohn c1870s-80s. Each has fine floral decoration with garlands and gold trim and highlights, both inside and out. Each has a blue ground and all have the blue Wolfsohn backstamp (crowned D over Hand painted Dresden Saxony). One has "Handgemalt" instead of handpainted, and all have the gold rose overstamp. The cups stand 2" high and the saucers are 5-7/8" across, and each saucer also is stamped with a retailer stamp.
