An Arts & Crafts patinated bronze ink well from the 1900 to 1910 era. This Edwardian writing or desk accessory features green patination with a fine A&C gold stencil on the front above the pen rest. It stands 3-7/8" tall, 3" wide and 4-1/2" deep. It retains its original blown clear glass inkwell or ink pot and it is stamped BENEDICT ADAM VERO 2213 on the bottom. It is in very good condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some expected ink stains and surface spotting and minor edge rubs to the stand and a hole on the bottom of the glass ink well where someone had drilled it (this can be epoxied over or repaired by a glassmaker). there is also a small bump on the back with a tight surface crack to the patination. A 12k yellow gold and sterling silver Victorian amethyst ring dated 1897. This size 5-1/2 ring features a natural purple genuine amethyst stone in a multi-claw setting and it has hand engraved foliate inlaid silver shoulders. It measures 5/16 x 1/4" across the stone, it has an obscured set of hallmarks and maker's marks with an O year date for Chester, England 1897 and it weighs 1.4 grams. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the obscuration of the marks (due to an earlier sizing) and a curl to one claw. There is also a tiny hole in the band at one side. A Niagara Falls Scottie dog souvenir figurine from the 1910 1920 era. This 5-1/2" long and 3-7/8" tall cast pot metal (probably) figurine has an attached planchet depicting Niagara Falls N.Y. on it's back and the modelling and detail is quite fine. It has been painted gold (possibly not original) and it is unsigned. This lovely set consists of six 5-1/8" pastry forks, the 5-3/4" two-tine pastry server and the fitted velvet and silk lined fitted box. The box is wrapped with a mottled brown leather-style cover and it has a pushbutton release. The utensils are stamped J.E&S S EP (for Joseph Elliot & Sons (Sheffield, England c1878-c1972) and this set would make a great gift. An SSMC Saart Rosebud pattern sterling silver sauce or cream ladle. Introduced in 1903 by the Sterling Silver Manufacturing Company (SSMC) of Providence, Rhode Island (1909-32), it was later taken over by Saart. A 15k rubies seed pearls shamrocks memento pin brooch from the 1875 era with green, yellow and rose gold. This splendid mid-Victorian 1-3/8" pin has an appealing hand etched floral design with genuine rubies and seed pearls as leaves and flowers. It also features a border with raised flowers alternating with raised and textured shamrocks which have leaves which are split with one side green gold and the other side of each leaf rose gold. On the back it has a compartment with a beveled glass window and retaining bezel which would have probably held a lock or braid of hair but now holds a trimmed tintype portrait of a man. It has a loop for wear as a pendant, it has the original c-clasp and it weighs 11.0 grams (intact). It is typically unmarked and it tests as 15k gold. The hair compartment is quite deep and it would easily hold a gold coin or other memento or even another portrait. A wonderful survivor and an example of the fine quality Victorian jewellers were able to accomplish. It is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor damage to the cut tintype portrait. There is a slight patina from use which is quite exaggerated in our pictures. We gave this pin a simple surface cleaning only, preferring to leave the 150 years of patina intact. This fine mid-Victorian 2-3/4 x 7/8" pin features a fine carved genuine sardonyx male warrior portrait mounted on an Etruscan style pin with ornate wirework. It is unsigned and it tests as a high 15k (a bit below 18k) and it also has a hook for the suspension of a watch or locket. This lovely string holder weighs 3 ounces, and its pierced design allows you to see if you will soon need more string. It measures 3-1/4" in diameter and it stands 3-1/4" in height.
